“I” member agency.
All company representatives, regardless of age, are encouraged to interact with the future leadership of the insurance industry!
What We do
IIAV’s Young Agents are known for their energy, engagement, and commitment to the future of the insurance industry. While many are early in their careers, they are already stepping into leadership roles as our industry continues to evolve.
Focused on four key pillars, this group is dedicated to advocacy, professional growth, and service. In just the past two years, they have represented the majority of attendees at state and national legislative events and raised more than $18,000 for five community service projects.
Their impact is clear — they are helping shape the future of IIAV and the independent insurance industry.
Young Agents Conference
IIAV’s Young Agents Committee host an annual conference specifically for young insurance agents. This event allows agents to network, gain confidence, and learn with other professionals in the industry

Young Agents Committee
The Young Agents Committee serves as the unified voice for all young agents in Virginia. The connection that perpetuates the future of the independent insurance agency system meets approximately 4 times a year at the IIAV headquarters and develops means by which young insurance professionals can interact, resulting in successful career paths and growth for their agencies.
