2026 VAIA Women’s Conference Recap
The Virginia Association of Insurance Agents (VAIA) was proud to host its second annual Women’s Conference, welcoming more than 150 insurance professionals for a day dedicated to connection, empowerment, and professional growth.
This inspiring event brought together women from across the industry to share experiences, build meaningful relationships, and gain valuable insights into navigating both career and personal challenges. Attendees engaged in dynamic sessions and left with renewed confidence and a stronger sense of community.
Keynote speakers Katherine Wintsch and Jen E. Miller delivered powerful and relatable messages that resonated deeply with attendees. Their perspectives encouraged participants to embrace their journeys, lead with confidence, and recognize they are not alone in the challenges they face every day.
The conference also provided valuable networking opportunities, fostering conversations that will continue well beyond the event and help shape the future of women in insurance.

- Education & Training: From license preparation to our semester-long training course to informal education in the community, we help people learn about all aspects of insurance.
- Volunteering: You’ll see us at schools and community events across Virginia on a regular basis.
- Career Connections: We help match hiring organizations with highly motivated, qualified individuals.
- Veterans Program: Veterans and their spouses attend our pre-licensing classes at no charge.
- Scholarships: We remove part or all of the financial barrier to beginning an insurance career through a number of available scholarships generously supported by partnering organizations.
